
“Live music. Big names. No tickets.”
Since 1992, the free Riverside Music Series has been a beloved summer tradition in Rochester, MN. Taking place Sunday evenings at Mayo Park behind Mayo Civic Center, the 2025 season kicks off July 13 and runs five consecutive Sundays through August 10. Each night features a national headliner with standout opening acts, all starting at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s lineup promises fresh energy, fan-favorite bands, and something for all music tastes to enjoy:
July 13: Blind Melon with Amateur
July 20: Caylee Hammack with Genevieve Heyward
July 27: The Wailin’ Jennys with Molly Maher & Her Disbelievers
August 3: Tone Loc with Desdamona & The Orange Goodness
August 10: Hoobastank with John Forrest & The Model Citizens
Know Before You Go:
Here are some helpful tips before heading to Mayo Park for the Riverside Music Series.
- Come hungry. Food trucks and beverage vendors start serving at 6:00 p.m. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance of Mayo Park. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic or cooler, along with blankets or lawn chairs.
- Walk, bike, or drive to Mayo Park. Walking or biking to Mayo Park is highly encouraged, as Mayo Park has direct access to bicycle and walking paths. If you drive, parking is free on evenings and weekends in nearby City-owned ramps, surface lots, and metered street spots.
- Bring the whole family. Stop by the Rochester Art Center patio (just steps away from the stage) for kid-friendly fun during each show. Expect bubbles, sidewalk chalk, jump ropes, and other playful, free activities.
Whether you're dancing up front, sprawled out on a blanket, or enjoying the show from the sidelines with a snack and a view, there’s no wrong way to enjoy the Riverside Music Series.
