This program adheres to nutrient guidelines established by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Heart Association, and other leading health organizations.
Restaurants participating in this program offer delicious options for patients transitioning from hospital to home, supporting recovery with low-fat, low-sodium, cardiovascular, carbohydrate-controlled, and portion-controlled meals. What are the Eat. Confidently. guidelines?
Restaurants voluntarily participating in the Eat. Confidently. program adhere to the following nutritional criteria:
Entrée: ≤400 Calories, ≤5 (g) Saturated Fat, ≤600 (mg) Sodium
Side Dish: ≤250 Calories, ≤2 (g) Saturated Fat, ≤200 (mg) Sodium
Dessert: ≤250 Calories, ≤3 (g) Saturated Fat, ≤230 (mg) Sodium, ≤8 (g) Added Sugar
Entrée + Side Dish or Bowl: ≤650 Calories, ≤7 (g) Saturated Fat, ≤800 (mg) Sodium
