St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and there are plenty of ways to eat, drink, and celebrate throughout Rochester. Whether you are looking for festive food, Irish traditions, or a lively night out, the holiday spirit will be easy to find around town. 

Lucky's Bar and Grill

Kick off the celebration at Olde Brick House, which will host festivities on March 14 and March 17 featuring a special St. Patrick’s Day menu and newly announced food and drink specials. Other Irish-inspired favorites worth visiting include Lucky’s Bar & Grill, Whistle Binkies, and The Thirsty Belgian these local staples are a great place to enjoy classic Irish flavors while soaking in the holiday atmosphere. For even more festive fun, head to The Tap House on Historic Third for their Shamrock Shakedown pop-up experience featuring themed décor, shamrock cocktails, and Irish-inspired pours that fully embrace the spirit of the season. 

Celebrate locally crafted brews at LTS Brewing Company on March 17, featuring green beer, beer trivia, and shamrock slushies perfect for the occasion. Many Rochester breweries also release limited St. Patrick’s Day beers and themed specials throughout the holiday weekend. Keep an eye on favorites like Little Thistle Brewing, Forager Brewery, and Kinney Creek Brewery for seasonal pours and festive surprises.

One of Rochester’s most cherished traditions is the Rochester Caledonian Pipe Band.
