Get ready to celebrate Independence Day and America's 250th anniversary in the heart of Rochester at 4th Fest: Rochester Celebrates America. The City of Rochester and Experience Rochester invite the community to this free, family-friendly celebration on Saturday, July 4, from 5:00 - 10:15 PM at Soldiers Field Memorial Park. Bring your family and friends for an evening of live music, local food vendors, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

 

Here's what to expect throughout the evening at 4th Fest:

SCHEDULE

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Welcome & Opening Ceremony: Kick off the evening with a community welcome and opening ceremony as festivities officially begin at Soldiers Field Memorial Park. 

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM | Opening Performance from J-Mo On The Beat & His J-Lighters​: Enjoy live entertainment from a featured opening act as the celebration gets underway. 

7:00 PM – 9:30 PM | Live Music from Branded Hot Country: The night continues with a live performance from Branded Hot Country, bringing high-energy entertainment and crowd-favorite country hits to the main stage. 

9:45 PM – 10:15 PM | Fireworks Finale: End the evening with a fireworks display lighting up the Rochester sky in a memorable Independence Day finale. 

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early to enjoy all the evening’s activities and entertainment.

Food & Vendors 

No Fourth of July celebration is complete without great food. Throughout the evening, a variety of food trucks and food vendors will be serving festival favorites, sweet treats, refreshing beverages, and local specialties. Whether you're looking for a quick snack between activities or a full meal before the fireworks, there will be plenty of options available throughout the event.
