Enjoy Restaurant Week in Rochester, MN
Foodies from near and far will want to bring their appetites to Restaurant Week (Nov. 26 – Dec. 1, 2018), when more than a dozen restaurants in Rochester, MN will be serving memorable food crafted using products from local farmers.
Restaurant Week, coordinated by FEAST! Local Foods Network, promotes food from our region as well as restaurants committed to supporting local farms. The result is a week of fresh, creative, farm-to-table specials—including appetizers, entrees, desserts, and cocktails—at some of the city’s favorite eateries.
'Tis the Season
“Restaurant Week is one of the most delicious weeks of the year in Rochester,” says Nicci Sylvester, owner of Tonic Local Kitchen & Juice Bar. Tonic is one of the restaurants in Rochester, MN participating in Restaurant Week, and this year the Tonic team will be making a special Gouda soup prepared with ingredients from a local cheesemaker, among other items. “Restaurant Week celebrates food from our region and shines a light on Rochester’s fabulous dining scene,” Sylvester says.
There has been a “restaurant renaissance” in Rochester in the past decade, and the city is increasingly becoming known as a regional destination for dining. Restaurant Week provides an opportunity to showcase the city’s exceptional cuisine and only-in-Rochester restaurants.
“We are so excited to host Restaurant Week in Rochester, MN. Our city’s dining scene is thriving, with dynamic restaurants serving up exceptional cuisine in stylish atmospheres with unbeatable customer service,” says Mary Gastner, interim executive director of Experience Rochester MN. “Visitors and residents who dine out at participating restaurants during Restaurant Week are in for a treat!”

Rochester, MN restaurants participating in the 2018 Restaurant Week include: Tonic Local Kitchen & Juice Bar, Victoria’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar, Forager Brewery, Chester’s Kitchen & Bar, The Tap House on Historic Third, Little Thistle Brewing Co., Pedal Pushers (Lanesboro), The Loop Bar & Restaurant, Casablanca Creative Cuisine & Wine, Bleu Duck Kitchen, Nosh (Lake City), Half Barrel, People's Food Co-op, Porch & Cellar, Bar Buffalo, Cameo at the Castle, and more. Check back here for an updated list of participating restaurants as the event nears. Also, look for Restaurant Week signs and table tents in participating restaurants.
Restaurant Week starts on Monday, Nov. 26 and will conclude with the FEAST! Local Food Marketplace event at Mayo Civic Center on Dec. 1. FEAST! attendees can sip, sample, and stock up on locally-made foods, from Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Besides the market, there are cooking demos and children’s activities. (Bonus: Customers who order a special menu item at a participating eatery during Restaurant Week will receive a $10-off voucher for an alcohol-sampling wristband for the FEAST! Local Food Marketplace event.)
