The show will take place at Mayo Civic Center on April 3, 2026

(Rochester, Minn.) October 10, 2025 –  World Ballet Company proudly announces the 2025–2026 national tour of Cinderella, an irresistibly fun (and funny!) take on one of the world’s most beloved fairytales will make a stop at Mayo Civic Center on April 3, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mayo Civic Center Box Office and Ticketmaster.com. This enchanting production will bring a Broadway-style ballet experience to audiences of all ages.

At once timeless and delightfully unexpected, Cinderella is a family-friendly, cinematic ballet that blends elegant choreography, playful humor, and stunning visuals. Choreographed by Estonia’s Marina Kesler, the production features a multinational cast of 40 professional dancers from ten countries, more than 150 radiant hand-sewn costumes, and richly detailed hand-crafted sets.

“The idea,” says Kesler, “was to create a cinematic feeling on stage, where every movement, every gesture, helps tell the story clearly and emotionally.” This delightful staging of Cinderella invites audiences into a magical world where kindness triumphs, transformation is possible, and happily ever after is just one glittering waltz away. The production is brought to life by an expressive and soaring musical score, paired perfectly with Kesler’s inventive storytelling and choreography.

From sweeping ballroom scenes to moments of unexpected comedy, Cinderella is designed to dazzle both first-time balletgoers and seasoned viewers. According to the surveys, more than 60 percent of World Ballet Company audiences experience ballet for the first time with one of their productions, which is crucial to the company's mission: Ballet Everywhere, Ballet For All.
