Details
Youth Open Gym at Rochester Gymnastics Academy is a supervised, structured play time where kids can safely explore the gym, move their bodies, and have fun in a coach-monitored environment.
Open Gym is divided into two separate areas to ensure a positive experience for all ages:
-
Preschool Area, designed specifically for younger children with age-appropriate equipment
-
Main Gym, featuring gymnastics equipment such as trampolines, bars, beams, tumble tracks, and foam pits
During Open Gym, trained ROGA coaches are actively on the floor, moving throughout each area to help guide kids, manage equipment use, and reinforce safety rules. This is not free play or unsupervised gym time. Our staff helps children navigate stations, take turns, and choose appropriate activities based on ability and comfort level.
For safety reasons, adults are not permitted inside the gym areas, but parents and caregivers are welcome to relax and observe from our designated parent viewing area.
All participants must have a signed waiver on file prior to participation. An adult must remain on-site for children who are not potty trained or who may need assistance using the restroom.
