Stones in His Pockets, centers on the characters of Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn who, along with a collection of other townsfolk in a fictional Irish community, find themselves cast as extras in the filming of a Hollywood film. The key point of the play, a tragicomedy, occurs when a local teen takes his own life by drowning himself with stones in his pockets. A cast of two, Commonweal ensemble members Hal Cropp and Josiah Laubenstein will perform all fifteen characters in the in a delightful theatrical feat.
