5:30 PM THE REACH OUTS (Winona, MN)

The Reach Outs are a high-energy punk band from Winona, MN, blending the raw edge of punk with the catchy hooks of pop-punk to deliver music that's both rebellious and irresistibly melodic. Inspired by the likes of Green Day and Blink-182, their sound is driven by defiant lyrics, punchy guitar riffs, and a youthful spirit that captures the highs and lows of everyday life. With songs that channel frustration, hope, and authenticity, The Reach Outs bring a fresh yet familiar voice to the punk scene—one that leaves a lasting mark with every performance.

6:30 PM SPACE MONKEY MAFIA (Minneapolis, MN)

Founded in 2016, Space Monkey Mafia is a six-piece band rooted in the best parts of 90s/00s ska and punk, infused with a healthy dose of contemporary influence, and combined with a lyrical urgency and message to meet the moment.  

In the time of social media campaigns and playlist placements, Space Monkey Mafia gained their fanbase the old-fashioned way - by winning them over one show at a time – playing more than 250 shows in 20 states within their first few years. Quickly earning a reputation for their energetic and danceable live performances, the band showed an immediate eagerness to get in the van and bring their music to as many ears as possible, logging thousands of miles and hundreds of shows and festivals throughout the US.

ABOUT FORWARD PARK CONCERTS

These free, Wednesday evening concerts highlight local bands and regional headliners. Concerts are held in six different walkable, pet friendly, and bike trail connected parks - one in each city ward. The music starts at 5:30 and wraps up by 8 pm. Come early to enjoy the park before the show, visit the bookmobile, and grab a coloring sheet and crayons for the kids!

Everyone is welcome! Picnic baskets, coolers, well-behaved pups, and blankets are encouraged, and here will be local food and beverage vendors on site.
