Rochester Chamber Music Society is pleased to present Here in This Garden on Saturday, April 22, 7:30 pm at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester.

This will be our first opera production. Robert S. P. Gardner has embarked on a project to compose a chamber opera that takes as its theme the environmental experience of our contemporary awareness. Here In This Garden is a meditation on the relationship between human beings and their natural environment as reflected through ancient and indigenous perspectives, as well as notions of modern life and progress. To whom does all of this belong? Where lies our sense of responsibility? Discover these considerations when you attend the performance.
