Artist Spotlight Tour with Drew Maude-Griffin

We are pleased to welcome interdisciplinary artist Drew Maude-Griffin to lead a tour of their artwork as part of the current exhibition Chronicles of the Chronic. As an artist, curator and educator, Maude-Griffin’s practice explores illness, disability and the complex politics of care.

Tours last approximately 45 minutes. This event is free and all are welcome. No registration required.

About the artist

Maude-Griffin received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Their work has been exhibited throughout Minnesota, and featured in Mn Artists and Minnesota Women’s Press. Maude-Griffin is a 2022-23 Emerging Curators Institute fellow, with a forthcoming exhibition at the Minnesota Museum of American Art this fall.

About the exhibition:

Chronicles of the Chronic is a group exhibition that celebrates the creativity and resilience of the chronically ill community by featuring regional, national and international artists whose artistic practice reflects holistically upon the experience of living with a chronic health condition.
