Brad Jones is the Executive Director of Experience Rochester MN. Jones has served as Executive Director of Experience Rochester MN (formerly the Rochester MN Convention & Visitors Bureau) since January 2005, is an ex-officio board member of the Rochester Downtown Alliance and Rochester Sports, and serves as Chair of the Rochester Arts and Cultural Trust.
He is currently appointed to the MN Tourism Council by Governor Dayton and is an active supporter of the Meet in Minnesota initiative. He has contributed to the development of significant tourism-related projects in the Rochester, MN area such as securing state and local support of the convention center expansion and inclusion of hospitality as a new program pathway offered through Rochester Community and Technical College’s CTECH/STEM Center Project. His efforts support ongoing advocacy, development, and delivery of multiple aspects of Rochester's Destination Medical Center initiative.
Brad was born and raised in Michigan. He holds a bachelors degree in hospitality management with a minor in marketing and an associates degree in food service management/culinary arts from Ferris State University.
Brad is an Eagle Scout and still enjoys being involved in the local Boy Scouts program as an Assistant Cubmaster. Brad is also a former hockey player and hockey official and spent 17 years as an amateur ice hockey official.
